Location

CityWalk's Rising Star is located in the entertainment promenade in Universal CityWalk Orlando. You'll find it across from Fat Tuesday

What Is CityWalk's Rising Star?

CityWalk's Rising Star is a unique karaoke club that lets you take the stage and perform in front of a live audience…or if you're too shy to perform, it lets you sit in comfy seats while you watch your friends and strangers perform in front of a live audience.

What makes this place different from your everyday karaoke club is the live band complete with backup singers (Tuesday through Saturday only; Sunday and Monday performers are accompanied by backup singers and pre-recorded music). The song list includes about 150-200 anthems - you know, the kind of songs you might sing in the shower when nobody is around to hear. Songs change on a regular basis, but always include a range of classic ballads, rock songs, country tunes, and hip hop.

You can submit your name and song choice on a card if you're interested in performing. Be sure to stand up and head for the stage if you hear your name, because you'll miss your chance if you don't move quickly enough. Song spots go fast, so sign up early to increase your chances of becoming a rising star.

While watching the performers, you can sip a number of signature cocktails that are brought direct to your table. There is not a food menu, but if you get hungry, you can order delivery from the nearby Red Oven Pizza Bakery

Best Time to Visit CityWalk's Rising Star

CityWalk's Rising Star is open every night of the week from 8:00 pm to 2:00 am. UO Fan Guide recommends visiting Tuesday through Saturday, because there is a backup band on these nights. The band infuses energy into the performers and the audience. Plus, the performers tend to sound better when they have a full band to back them up.
