The Blues Brothers Show Description

The Blues Brothers Show is a musical show based on the 1980 film The Blues Brothers. The show, which takes place next door to Finnegan’s Bar & Grill in the New York backlot area, is opened with a pre-show featuring a saxophone player named Jazz and Mabel the waitress. They exchange a bit of sassy dialogue before Mabel breaks into a rendition of "Respect" by Aretha Franklin.

When the pre-show ends, the two Blues Brothers, Jake and Elwood, arrive in the show area in their custom automobile. They enthusiastically greet the crowd before taking the stage and performing several songs. Songs vary by show, but most shows include a performance of the Blues Brothers' signature song "Soul Man."
